… I remember that there was a subtype of t-tauri stars in the game that was light-blue and had a very fast rotation, but I haven't seen any of them lately, every t-tauri I encounter is just an ordinary star, sometimes they look like a brown dwarf but that's it. T Tauri stars are pre-main-sequence stars in the process of contracting to the main sequence along the Hayashi track, a luminosity-temperature relationship obeyed by infant stars of less than 3 solar masses (M☉) in the pre-main-sequence phase of stellar evolution.
T Tauri stars therefore represent an intermediate stage between real protostars (e.g. YY Orionis stars) and low-mass main sequence (hydrogen burning) stars like the Sun. The nearest T Tauri stars to us are in the Taurus and ρ-Ophiuchus molecular clouds, both about 400 light years away.
